Networking with other bloggers

In life, it is important to have people around you that will support you. People that can act as mentors. I have mentors around me, people that can help me improve as an indivdual and become better at what I do.

So, networking with other bloggers is important for your blog to be successful. Think about things, do you know people that have had more success just through people they know? Just like the old cliche: “It’s not what you know, it is who you know”.

You may know some of the most successful people in your niche. That is a great opportunity, because this will give you the opportunity to leverage your blogs to other bloggers. Cross promotion is a great method of marketing plus it is a win-win situation. Hey, everyone wins!

If your goal is in 12 months time to have a successful blog with a high number of visitors to your site. Think of all the marketing methods you could apply if you knew a range of bloggers and if they are willing to promote your blog via their blog.

Writing articles and placing videos on high traffic sites for me personally has created me a lot of success on previous projects. In 2007, I created a video tutorial on

Photoshop and placed the link on Good-tutorials.com. The video made the home page of Good-tutorials.com and reached over 1100 visits in one day.

So if you can place links on high traffic websites to promote your blog or website. Go for it, you could gain loads of traffic. The key is to promote your blog or business, where the masses can see your website.

So building relationships with bloggers can seriously pay off. In order, to be successful you need to generate useful content where the demand of the target audience is.
