Opera 9
I have Windows Vista on my laptop and for some reason, it will not load Firefox, it is a shame because I love to use Firefox. Internet Explorer 7 is not bad, even though at times it can be unstable. I decided to download Opera, it is a crying shame that only 2% of the Internet population use it.
I currently downloaded Opera version 9.5.2 and it has some nice features. Compared to Internet Explorer a very fast browser.
The interface has a Web 2.0 feel, very customisable and I love the speed-dial feature. The speed-dial is the same as on a telephone, where you can select your favourite websites easily without locating from the favourites menu.
I am very impressed by the design, interface, ease of use and the speed of the browser. Generally, I tested applications from Facebook in IE 7 and Opera. Opera easily was three times faster than IE7. At the end of the day people have their preferences with web browsers.
