Creating great content takes time and effort. There are also times when you may run out of creative juice. I have a full time job as well as running my own blog. However, I am dedicated to continue with the blog, so in a few years time I can reach my own goals.

How to be more efficient with your blog

Blogging is like learning a martial art, it requires discipline and motivation these are all good things to have. In order to be successful, we need to maximise the time that we have to produce great results.

Here are some techniques I used to create new content.

  1. Research content
    Get educated on your niche. Read as much content as possible not only on the web, use good books, magazines and journals. The more good information you can apply the better.
  2. Brainstorm ideas for posts or articles
    Sit down and brainstorm as many ideas as possible in a period of 10-20 minutes and select the best ideas from the list.
  3. Display of content
    How can the content be displayed in a blog post? a video format? or a podcast? Some methods may be more suitable that others. Would pictures help to display information in your blog post? As a e-learning developer it is important to display the content in a way that the reader would benefit.
  4. Creation of content
    Get ready to generate some great content. Enjoy the process of blogging, there are many great benefits. Just like learning a martial art you will grow as a person too from the art of blogging.
