Create an online business today

Are you fed up working 40 hours a week and the taxman takes a huge sum of your income directly without you seeing it first? Are you sick and tired of working for somebody that just doesn’t value you? Then your boss expects more and more from you and in return they don’t even offer you a pay raise or even pay you what you are worth?

Are you fed up of paying for a government that generates lies upon lies that cost you money? Are you sick to death of paying for the economies mistakes from employers, irresponsible bank owners and the government? Are you fed up of paying for a failed economy and the employees are always the first to be laid off in a recession?

Ask yourself who foots the bill for the economies countless mistakes? That’s right you’ve guested it the employee. There are other ways to make a living. Seriously, if you are passionate about creating your own business you can do. There is nothing stopping you creating an online business. You have nothing to lose at all. Plus by reading through the list of false hopes and myths you could be in a much better situation if you created your own online business.

Many people fear risk and even more so in today’s current climate which is very understandable. Creating an online business is affordable, manageable plus you can see the results a lot more rapidly.

Reasons to create an online business

Zero risk
That’s right creating an online presence requires zero risk. How great is a zero risk investment? You do not need to invest tens of thousands into an online business. You can start an online business for the cost of web hosting which can be up to £50 or $50US per year. This is hardly breaking the bank and you can install an open-source platform such as Wordpress to start your online business. The atmmultimedia blog is driven purely by Wordpress. It is a very accessible program plus it is so easy to use.

Minimal investment means higher profits
An online business doesn’t require the huge overheads that a normal business would. A normal business requires many overheads including: the price of the building, heating, water, electric, insurance and the list goes on. The beauty of an online business is you can operate it in your home, on a laptop or even a PDA. Plus an online business can be run anytime, anyplace even in a cyber cafe whilst on holiday .The opportunities of Internet business are endless.

Support the lifestyle that you choose
When you are your own boss it means you’re in control. If you have a specialist skill and not being paid what you are worth by you’re employer maybe you should consider creating an Internet business. You must remember that your employer is hiring you probably for a job that they can not do, which means you are valuable. But seriously, is it up to the employer to say how much you are worth?

If you have specialist skills that are in demand a wise decision is to create an online presence and generate leads. It is an affordable method of escaping working a 40 hour week. In this world nothing is secure and you should never assume (assumption is such a false word), that anything is for forever and especially a job. Look after number one it is clear as day that your bank doesn’t care and your government doesn’t care. As long as they are safe and secure they couldn’t care less about you.

All you need is time
Creating an online business in the beginning is about having enough time to devote to it. How frustrated are you in your current lifestyle? Can you improve it? I am sure you could, even in a recession you can start creating an online business.

When people are not spending they are thinking. When the recovery phrase returns people will be spending money and buying products that they need or want. However, in the recession it is the perfect time to educate people about your niche. Educating people about your products and services now during the recession allows you to build trust with your potential customers. Therefore, when the recovery phrase returns they are more than likely to buy from you.

I want to start an Internet business what do I do now?
Think of all the hobbies, activities and subjects that you enjoy and are knowable about. Think of how you can provide services in that niche. Write down several areas that you are good at and think about how you can offer your expertise to that audience.

Once you have got your ideas research your niche and see if there is a gap. I am sure that there will be some opportunity out there for you. Once you’ve found your niche begin content for that target audience. The beauty of an online business is you can start creating information and see your results as you progress. In order for a blog to be successful you must be consistent.  Generate content on a consistent basis and most importantly never give up.

To be successful, you need passion and drive to reach your goals. This is all attainable. Once you’ve hit the 6 month point on your blog, you will never want to give up as you have invested so much time and effort into your blog. By that time, you will a greater awareness of blogging, Internet Marketing, SEO and generating traffic. Plus within 6 months, if you’ve been working at your blog people visiting your blog.

I’ve heard this great quote by Benjamin Franklin:
“Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What’s a sundial in the shade? “.

If you are wise you could use your talents to become better off or even rich. So be smart and use your mind to create new opportunities. The world of opportunity doesn’t come knocking on your door frequently, you must find those gems in order to live the life that you want.

Many people die at twenty five and aren’t buried until they are seventy five.”
Benjamin Franklin.

If you are not happy with your current situation of being stuck in a dead end job. Don’t be the walking dead person at 25 then waits 50 years to years to buried. It is a long time to be unhappy. Build the foundations to your new lifestyle.

Wishing you all the success.

So true. Unfortunately being your own boss will still not take care of a lying government :)

Also one important thing to remember when creating an online business is to make sure that you always have some kind of automation and/or outsourcing in mind. A lot of people end up creating a new job for themselves instead of a business that will run on its own.

Being your own boss will place you in a better position. The government give you tax breaks for creating: jobs and giving help to charities.

But any government will tell you what you want hear.

An online business yes it does need to be automated, this is an art.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Hi James,

Quite some time I didn’t comment on your blog! I would like to add that if it’s good to have a motivation that could derive from a hobby, if you really want to be successful, you have to treat your site and work as a business and not a hobby anymore, this will make the difference between whether you’ll be successful or not.

    James,

I would also like to add that just like any business venture, you need to protect yourself. Research and set up a safe business structure before doing anything, also if you really want to be successful in online business and truly want to live the 4HWW, you need to create procedure lists for VA’s to follow. Great Post.

    Hi John,

Safety is important, another thing I’d like to add to this list is: “If you do work for someone, keep the business under your hat”. Jealously, is a horrbile thing and keeping ideas under wraps is the best way to be safe.
