Joining a local business networking group is always a good way to start building up a reputation within a community. Google your location followed by “business networking” and there will usually be several around.

Remember to take lots of Business Cards!

At least some people quit. Some never even try to start with. There are a lot of people out there wanting to make money, but few willing to take any action. I wonder how often it’s because they really don’t believe their actions will yield results. They absolutely will — but you have to be patient to LEARN and APPLY. The funny thing is, people talk about going back to school and so on … but there is so much school right here online for little or nothing compared to college classes. It’s all about the will to tackle it.

Thanks for the comment. Web work is very slow at the moment, too many people doing it locally. But I am working on a new blogging that devoted to blogging. So I am working on that. I feel with http://www.atmmultimedia.com it is mostly about web design services, but having another blog that aimed at bloggers in general it’ll help to promote http://www.atmmultimedia.com there will be a lot of opportunites for netwroking in this new blog.

Interesting point here. I have not signed up for LinkedIn yet but is it truly so valuable? I guess it definitely helps you to get to know other people.
Do you get a lot of traffic through it? Probably not right? Have you connected to some professionals you haven’t connected with before?
