Top commentator tips

When I comment on other blogs my traffic does increase. However, commenting is something that I need to do on a daily basis in order to gain new visits. As you read a blog, you’ll notice that other readers will leave comments, some like: “great post”, those aren’t really clickable comments.

  5. Use keyword rich anchor text - For your title use a keyword rich name. I am trying to rank high in Google for SEO tips, so I’ll use SEO tips as a title name. When you comment on do-follow blogs you are doing link building as well. Make the most of your blog commenting. Make sure you vary your keywords when link building, because Google doesn’t like spam comments.
  6. Bonus tip – Link to other pages in your blog - When creating comments apply use different hyperlinks into your blog. Many people would just link to the home page. Add different URLs into the website box. This is a simple way of creating deep links into your blog.

    Hi James,

Following what you say, I really want to put the emphasis on “write useful comments”. Truly, too many people just spam to get a back link but it really does more harm than good to put either something pure spam either something like “good”,”great post here’s my website…”

Nobody likes that, you are wasting your time because most of the time the comment won’t even be approved, and you are wasting the time of the blog owner too.

On the contrary, if your comment carries some value, everybody wins!
